Sunday, August 21, 2011. 156th-annual Redford Picnic Sunday afternoon on Church of the Assumption grounds. The rain held off for most of the day as crowds of people participated in booth games, Skilo, a rummage sale, danced to music by the Back Porch Band, Roy Hurd and Too Big For the Corner Band, and rode on the famous 1890s Armitage-Herschell carousel.
