Fred Ruvola and his wife, Elaine Gonyea Ruvola, are the third generation to operate Gonyea's Greenhouses Inc. in Malone on Fourth Street. Along with designer Cheryl Lawrence (right), they look forward to planting seedlings that will be colorful spring flowers. The floral shop also offers floral designs for all occasions including birthdays, weddings, funerals and holidays. They are a member of TelaFlora and the Society for American Florists. Founded in 1927, the greenhouse and flower shop are the second oldest continual business in Malone.
