Tony Searing, 55, of Morrisonville said he was lucky he wasn't hurt and his car didn't end up in the Saranac River after he accidently veered off Route 3 near Saranac. Searing, who escaped with only a scratch to his forehead, said he was exhausted from participating in Sunday's Lake Placid Ironman and fell asleep at the wheel. Searing was ticketed for unsafely moving from a lane.
